That’s right, folks.  It’s another World Music Wednesday at Whereverthere!

The only thing I really know about the band is that they’re Cuban and that this song, Carnavalera, was a hit somewhere in Latin America in approximately 1999.  That’s because I’m fairly certain that I first heard it on a random ‘Grandes Exitos’ (Greatest Hits) cd that I picked up when I was living in Brazil.  The cd is long gone, but my LOVE for this song has lived on.

And yes, you had better believe I am doing that choreography in my living room right now.
